Whales make a regular appearance in our waters towards the end of the summer and are a major attraction to both tourists and locals alike. These majestic creatures provide plenty of entertainment with their playfuls antics and sounds at the surface of the ocean.

Scuba Diving

Donegal Bay provides some of the most spectacular underwater scenery to be found around the whole coast. The crystal clear waters and abundance of wildlfe combined with the lack of strong currents make this area the perfect spot for begginner and the most experience diver alike.

One of the best known spots in the area is located at the tip of St. Johns pt. Here, a series of steps down to below the waterline make access very easy. Many divers congregate to this spot each year where the water is the clearest you could find.

There are boats available to hire for deep sea diving.
